Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro condemned the actions of the US Navy, which seized an oil tanker off the country's coast, calling it an act of maritime piracy and the kidnapping of the crew.
The Venezuelan president accused the United States of "maritime piracy" after American forces deployed in the Caribbean region seized an oil tanker off the country's coast. "They kidnapped the crew, stole the ship, and inaugurated a new era: the era of criminal maritime piracy in the Caribbean," he said.
