The Argentine U-20 team achieved an important victory by 1-0 against Bolivia in the framework of the third match of Group B of the South American U-20 Championship, held at the Polideportivo Misael Delgado Stadium in Venezuela.

The goal that secured the victory for the "Albiceleste" came in the 41st minute of the second half, thanks to left-back Teo Rodríguez Pagano. With this result, the team coached by Diego Placente leads Group B with 7 points, coming very close to qualifying for the final hexagonal of the youth tournament.

Despite the Bolivian resistance, which has not earned points so far in the championship, Argentina found the advantage in the final minutes with a fantastic goal from their defender from San Lorenzo. Throughout the match, the Bolivians created several goal opportunities, especially in the first half through Moisés Paniagua.

With changes in the starting lineup, the Argentine coach opted to rotate his players, which allowed the entry of several starters who managed to change the course of the game. Although the score seemed destined for a draw, Teo Rodríguez Pagano received the ball near the area and with a powerful shot managed to beat goalkeeper Fabian Pereira, ensuring victory for Argentina in the final moments of the match.
