Panamanian pitchers Jorge 'Muñeco' García and Abdiel Saldaña are ready with their team, Bravos de Margarita, for the Round Robin phase (all against all) of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).
García and Saldaña, who have been with Bravos since the beginning of the league, will start the second phase of the tournament tomorrow Saturday when they face the Águilas del Zulia at 4 PM (Panama time).
For the Round Robin phase of the LVBP, five teams qualified: Cardenales de Lara, Navegantes de Magallanes, Águilas del Zulia, Caribes de Anzoátegui, and Bravos de Margarita.
In this stage, four rounds will be played all against all, with each team totaling 16 games.
The two best records qualify for the final series of Venezuelan professional baseball.
The Regular Season of the league, in which each team played 56 games, was dominated by Cardenales de Lara with 30 wins and 26 losses.
