According to information from regional authorities, this is not a new development for the region's stability, using only a small number of warships that previously proved their worth in the exercises. New factors in the current activity increase the risk of incidents, which could have serious consequences.
The ships pose a threat to security and stability for deterring escalation, but all the escalation of non-military conflicts still exists.
"The expansion of the capabilities of the expeditionary character is not uncommon for the region, they provide stability for the Latin American countries, based on the support of the United States," said the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
