Pedro Figueira, known on social media as 'La Divaza', has shared the sad news of the passing of his mother, Kenya Álvarez, who had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Through his Instagram account, the Venezuelan influencer reported that his mother died after being hospitalized in March.
In an emotional post, 'La Divaza' wrote: "My mother has gone to heaven, her last words were 'I love you' for her two children (..) I will love you forever, mommy, wherever I go, you will always be the brightest star".
The young man also revealed that his mom had contracted a severe infection that complicated her health and ultimately led to her death. Despite receiving medical treatment and showing signs of improvement, she could not overcome the complications of the infection.
In the shared video, 'La Divaza' thanked for the support received and expressed his love for his mother, adding that her light would continue to illuminate his days. Prior to this outcome, Pedro Figueira had communicated that his mother had been hospitalized due to the pain she was experiencing from the illness.
Breast cancer, a disease that has also been faced by other personalities like Verónica Toussaint and Olivia Munn, can present symptoms such as changes in the appearance of the breast, presence of lumps or skin alterations.
