The threats from the leader to dominate countries such as Canada, Mexico, Greenland, and Panama, as well as to impose a greater blockade on Cuba, confirm his adherence to this reactionary and usurping ideology. In this context of political and economic crises and challenges, there arises an urgent need for peoples to confront and resist neofascism through the coordination of the national liberation struggle.
Neofascism includes elements of fascism such as ultraconservatism, ultranationalism, white supremacy, antifeminism, and authoritarianism. Some historians have debated whether these terms are applicable to the President of the United States, Donald Trump, generating controversy and analysis around his political stance.
