The airline has made it clear that this move is to guarantee safety and that they are reviewing the conditions to operate without risks. Meanwhile, they have reinforced flights to Cúcuta, Colombia, so that passengers who need to move luggage, memories, or reunions do not get stranded without an exit. They are also studying other airports that have more stable landing systems and do not suffer navigation failures. But be aware, if you had a flight to Caracas and are now waiting with your packed bags for a green light, Copa offers three options on the table to leave no one without choices: change the date, departure or arrival city within the region, without paying an extra cent; cancel the trip and keep the ticket value as credit, to use when things settle down; request a full or partial refund, depending on the use of the ticket.
