Venezuela, a country with a traditional economy based on fossil fuels, is gradually but steadily advancing towards electric mobility. This change is reflected in the incorporation of electric vehicles into the national automotive fleet and the creation of charging stations for these cars.
The director of the Research and Development Center of Engineering (CIDI) at the Catholic University has highlighted the importance of this progress in the country, pointing out that the transition to electric mobility represents a significant step in reducing dependence on fossil fuels and adopting cleaner and more sustainable technologies.
According to experts, this shift towards electric mobility in Venezuela is key to mitigating the effects of climate change and promoting more sustainable development in the country. Despite the challenges that may arise in this transition process, it is expected that the incorporation of more electric vehicles and the expansion of the charging infrastructure will continue to advance in the coming years.
