Venezuelan politician María Corina Machado addressed citizens who share her ideals, stating that "Venezuelans decided to BE FREE; the time to act is NOW." In a message shared on her social media, Machado presented seven basic principles that will guide the struggle for freedom and democracy in Venezuela, calling on citizens to unite to uphold the mandate of July 28 and move forward together towards the goal.
She emphasized the importance of maintaining pressure and moving with determination towards the "final round," urging the defense of the population, territory, and the Constitution of the country. Addressing all Venezuelans, but especially military and police, Machado reminded them that it is crucial to be part of the solution and not the problem, maintaining focus and determination.
María Corina Machado also highlighted that the regime in Venezuela is "internally fractured" and sent a strong message to the international community, warning that "history will be relentless with betrayal" for those who attempt to be on both sides. She also stressed that those who do not respect and defend the result of the people's will are lacking in morals.
In a tone of confidence and hope, the political leader concluded her message by reiterating her faith in Venezuelan citizens and in a better future for the country, ending with an emotional "I BELIEVE IN YOU."
