At a commemorative event held at the National Pantheon, Venezuelan authorities began activities with the raising of the flag as part of the events marking the anniversary of the start of Venezuela's independence process in 1810. Minister Padrino López warned about the threats against the country's independence legacy and the unity and dignity of its people.
The event of April 19, 1810 marked a milestone in the formation of Venezuelan national identity, serving as inspiration for the emancipatory ideas that propelled the path to independence. In honor of this historic date, a floral tribute was laid in honor of the Liberator Simón Bolívar, and a solemn session was held at the Municipal Council of Caracas.
