The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, praised the mobilization of the party's members across the country in defense of sovereignty on the occasion of the "Bolivarian Shield 2025" exercises. Cabello emphasized the nationwide deployment as "so extraordinary" that it has received clear and positive responses during the mobilization in Caracas.
He stressed the unity of the Venezuelan people and the political structures that carry out various situations as part of the training of the military, police, and people. Cabello, also the Minister of Interior, Justice, and Peace, expressed that these demonstrations of unity keep his group on alert in the face of the critical gaze of national and international right-wing, which, according to him, becomes "crazy with the deployment of our people."
Emphasizing that January 23 marks 67 years since the fall of the last dictatorship in Venezuela, Cabello assured that it was a feat of the people. The Chavista mobilization in Caracas extended from east to west of the city, culminating at the Miraflores Palace, the seat of government, where President Nicolás Maduro is expected to receive the participants.
"They know that every day it becomes harder to bend the people of Venezuela," Cabello commented, alluding to the people's resistance against internal and external pressures.
